Family cook-ups at the Pavilion on the Park are back!
Thanks to a £2500 grant from Eastleigh Borough Council, we are delighted to be able to fund five more family cook-up events up until April 2026.
As part of our mission to promote active, flourishing and connected lives in Eastleigh, the Family Cook-Up scheme first started in February 2024 – where we invited local families to come along and cook up a delicious meal together for free.
Project Co-ordinator Ali Stubbington is excited for more cook-ups:
“Family cook-ups are all about helping families access and learn about healthy food and cooking. We’re incredibly grateful to the Health and Community Service at Eastleigh Borough Council for helping us to make more events possible for families in our community to enjoy.”
Family Cook-Ups are free to attend (booking required), with all food and utensils provided. Participants are also welcome to take advantage of essential household item packages and food from the Eastleigh Community Fridge.
