Connect2Thrive
This all-encompassing project encapsulates the very best of our local community.
From weekly activities that promote social connection, to community-led services that offer solutions to the cost-of-living crisis, Connect2Thrive is all about helping hands and friendly faces.

Eastleigh Repair Café
Got something that needs fixing? The Eastleigh Repair Café is open on the last Saturday of each month for free consultations.
In a bid to reduce waste from going into landfill, we invite members of the community to bring along anything they have that is worse for wear – from clothing and toys to electrical and household items – for our regular volunteers to fix. Thanks to our growing number of volunteers, we can now also provide PAT Testing and Sharpening Services.
Pay-what-you-can donations are warmly received for items that are successfully fixed.
Eastleigh Community Fridge
The Pavilion on the Park is proud to be the home of the Eastleigh Community Fridge – a fridge and larder that is stocked up every week with surplus food and open to anyone in need.
The Community Fridge is run in partnership with the Blackbird Café and Thrive Church, who are based at the centre. It is stocked up every Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning, along with occasional fill ups on a Tuesday evening (6pm-7pm). Check out the Eastleigh Community Fridge page on Facebook for fill-up updates.
PLEASE NOTE: In order to feed as many people as possible, visitors are only allowed to fill ONE A4 sized tote bag per household with food from the fridge each day. Anyone found to be taking more than they need may be approached by staff.

Patio Gang
As part of our commitment to the Eastleigh Greening Campaign, we launched our Patio Gang last year.
This small, but mighty group of volunteers have done wonders already, creating beautiful bespoke planters for the Blackbird Cafe's patio.
We are always on the look-out for more green-fingered volunteers to pitch in and help maintain and beautify our green spaces. To find out more, please visit our Volunteering page.
Men's Mental Health Project
We have recently received funding to launch a new project aimed at enriching and supporting Men's Mental Health.
Our initial plans involve creating a 'man space' within our venue where people can make friends and enjoy common interests together.
If you are a local man aged 18 or over, we would love to gain your insight – please fill in this short survey and help us get this project off the ground!
