Sensory4All Testimonials
Sensory4all is our unique multi-sensory space that caters for people of all ages and all abilities. Described by visitors as “a little hidden gem in Eastleigh”, the sensory room is open four to six days a week and offers a range of unique and bespoke services, especially tailored to each individual and group.
Many of the people that use our sensory suite live with a range of disabilities and illnesses that impact on their daily lives. We are a particularly popular service for both adults and children with Autism, sensory impairments, learning difficulties and mental health challenges.
Designed to be a safe, calm yet stimulating experience, people visit the sensory suite from all over the South to enjoy the therapeutic benefits of sensory play. The project has a large selection of sensory development toys, games and equipment and our staple electrical features include two separate projector unit devices, an interactive media suite, a full-sized bubble tube, an infinity wall mirror, and a variety of wall and ceiling lights.
Sensory4All services include private sessions, playgroups for children under five years, group sessions and birthday parties for children with SEN/D and a drop-in service for adults with learning difficulties. As well as families, we often welcome bookings from schools, residential units, assisted living facilities, care homes, council services and children’s charities. Most recently, we have welcomed people with dementia and their carers who can enjoy new bookable sessions.
