The Pavilion on the Park is pleased to welcome Sundance Chief & Elder Camille Pablo Russell to our venue later this summer.

Native to the Kainai of Southern Alberta, Camille Pablo Russell, (es-pa-ko-me-kwan) aa’spahk’ko’mii’kwan “Shooting in the Air” is an award winning international speaker/storyteller, author, respected Blackfoot ceremonialist and cultural carrier.

Pablo has a remarkably broad historical and practical knowledge concerning the Prairie Indians’ original way of life, and like his grandparents, he is an excellent storyteller. In a rare visit to the UK, Pablo will be bringing his spiritual tales of wisdom to Hampshire as part of his Path of the Buffalo programme.

The programme starts here at the Pavilion on the Park on Thursday 31 July, with an introductory talk and Q&A session that will covers Pablo’s wisdom tradition, The Path of the Buffalo and how this can be used as a resource for life challenges.

The Pavilion on the Park will also play host to a Family Gathering on Friday 1 August, with stories, songs and drumming from the prairies, as well as a Medicine Wheel Workshop on Saturday 2 August.

For more information on the programme, please visit his website.

Tickets for each event in the programme, hosted by medium and spiritual teacher Lindsay Percival, can be found here.
