To celebrate this year’s Paralympics, we are calling on our community to be active and get cycling!
The distance from Pavilion on the Park to the Eiffel Tower in Paris is 354 miles.
You can cycle as many or as few miles as you like along this virtual route. Every pound you raise will get us closer to our £8,000 target! You can choose a personal challenge to suit you. You set your own target, whether it’s 3
miles or the whole 354 miles; whether you go solo or do it as part of a cycling group, the choice is yours.
Together we will be raising funds to replace the popular POWER ASSISTED SIDE BY SIDE TANDEM, requested by users of our bespoke Cycles4all project. This bike will enable people to improve their mental wellbeing and feel many health
benefits whilst enjoying the outdoors with a companion or friend.
In recent years Cycles4all lost two of their most in demand tandems due to age. As a small charity (Eastleigh Youth & Community Trust) we’re not in a position to replace these. With your help we want to enable more people to cycle together by reintroducing one of these within our fleet. The tandem will have the extra benefit of battery assistance providing extra comfort and ease for those who need a little extra help.
How many virtual 354 mile journeys to Paris can we complete between us?
Take the challenge, together or individually, using a Cycles4all bike, or your preferred bicycle and choose a time and route to suit you!
